Its thursday today. 28th February 2008.
I was suppose to be in school to take my monthly exams, but then i was selected to go represent my school for a sajak competition. Me and Yun wei got selected to represent SMK BUD (4).
So, yeah we went for the competition which means we have to take our exams next week. When everyone merdeka this friday, we merdeka next monday. =(
Well, yeah the sajak competition. Im sure you guys wanna know the results right? Me and Yun Wei didnt win. =(
Disappointed? Well of coz. But then, on second thought it was a good experience to expose urself more to our world. I did practise hard for the sajak competition. And i did hope that i could win. But no matter how good you are, there will always be someone else better than you.
Im not really sad that i didnt win this competition. I gave my best. I did my best. So im left with no regrets. Although, well, i admit im abit sad. Who will believe if someone didnt win a competition and they say they are not sad right. I am sad. But not to that extend.
This competition to me was quite a tough fight. There were many good ones which of coz includes me and yun wei. Seriously, I do think me and yun wei are in the category of quite good sajak person. Even the teacher admitted that fact. Saying we both have different style, different way of exposing the sajak and all. =)

However, Im not really satisfied with results. Not to say because i didnt win. But i think other ppl deserve to win more than the winners they announced today.
The host of this sajak competition was SMK BU. And guess what. The johan for this sajak competition was this guy from SMK BU also. I seriously didnt expect him to get johan. I didnt expected him to even get top 3!! and the person who get naib johan. Another one that i didnt expect to win. That fellow totally forget the lines of the sajak and paused for at least 10 seconds and yet manage to get 2nd.
Then before we started the sajak competition, the pengerusi majlis already told us the rules of the sajak, how they calculate the marks and all. One of the rules is, you are not allowed to move more than 3 steps infront, back or sideways if not marks would be deducted. Then this girl, she moved like 5 steps!!! and yet she didnt get disqualified and she won sumore.
Is this fair? Yun wei said its not a fair world. I agree with him. Besides, only me and yun wei were the only chinese. The rest were ALL MALAYS except there's another 2 more guys which are Indian. So its like this: 1 chinese guy, 1 chinese girl, 2 indian guys and the rest ALL malay.
The judges were 3 malay ladies from SMK BU. And one thing i can say about them is "i dun really think they are fit to become judges". No offence. Btw, its just my opinion.
There was this malay girl who went to the extend of wearing a purple baju kebaya to deklemasikan her sajak. Then there's this another girl who sang a malay song while walking in before she start mendeklemasikan her sajak. And another 2 more fellow, who went to the extend of bringing their
radio to help them as a "alat pembantu".
Speechless? Lolx. Me too. Yun wei too. One to know another funny thing? Both me and yun wei were like panicking alot. So you know what we did to calm ourselves? We sang the choir patriotik song! In the hall, then everyone looked at us! Lolx.
Yun wei said my voice is very suitable for this kind of sajak competition and also for singing competition. He said i shud join the school choir. And i was like WHAT???? IM ALREADY IN THE SCHOOL CHOIR! Blur guy claims im too small that he didnt notice me. -.-'
Did i mention that we draw lots to see who is going to deklemasikan their sajak? I got NO. 2!!! Eesh. Yun wei got no. 11.
Pn. Razma sent me home just now. Its 12.30pm now. No point sending me back to school. Coz everyone will be sitting for exams edi. I cant go in the classroom suddenly if not consider soalan bocor then i cant take my exams. Eesh.
Conclusion: I did try my best and i shall not be upset about the results. =)
