Today is a good day. =)
Went shopping with my mum at midvalley in the morning till late afternoon. Then went over to curve for more shopping in the evening till night. =)
I'm in a shopping mood once again. Lolx. And the best part about shopping with your parents is that, they pay all your expenses. *wink* Well, that is for my case. =P
Bought a top, 3 pants and a flats. *wink* I've got to admit that Nichii does really have quite nice flats. I usually go there for their clothes, but today, I noticed that they have quite nice footwear as well. XD.
On top of that, my mum really made my day today. Lolx. We had delifrance for lunch today. And this is what that really made my day, my mum's awesome skills of dealing with CUSTOMER'S RIGHTS. Lolx.
When ordering our food..
Mum : There is a promotion for your chicken pie right?
Lady : Tak ade, miss. There is no such promotion.
Mum : Couldn't be. I saw it in the newspaper. Buy one chicken pie, free one chicken pie.
Lady : Newspaper? Maybe it's a different delifrance branch.
Mum : No. The newspaper wrote its a delifrance branch in Midvalley. Ini bukan Midvalley? In Centralvalley ke?
Lady : Ini Midvalley. Oh, mungkin itu promotion dulu punya. Rasanya sekarang sudah tak ade dah.
Mum : What tak ade??? I saw it in today's paper. You have today's newspaper. Bring it. I show you.
Lady : Ohhh... (takes newspaper)
Mum : (takes newspaper) You tunggu. I cari untuk you. (starts flipping newspaper) Ahh, Ini dia!!! Nampak?? Tengok, tulis Delifrance promotion. Di Midvalley branch. Ini kan Delifrance? Atau ini France-deli?
Lady : (giggles) Betul, ini Delifrance. Sekejap ya miss, I tunjuk manager saya. (takes the paper and walk away)
(Lady comes back)
Mum : Macam mana? Got promotion anot?
Lady : Yes, miss. Ada. Sorry miss. Tak ade announcement, kami pun tak tahu ada promotion ini sekarang.
Mum : Means, can right? See, I told you already. I saw it in the papers. You all don't believe me.
(then we started ordering, Mum had her chicken pie while I ordered some pasta)
After my pasta was served..
Fion : Mummy, damn dry la wei. Not enough sos la.
Mummy : Yala... very dry la.
*lady walks pass-by*
Mummy : Ehh, pasta kamu sedap but not enough sos la.
Lady : Nak tambah sos?? (takes away my plate)
Fion : O.o (I stunt there like dunno how long)
Lady : (Comes back with my plate)
Fion : O.o again.
The whole pasta was loaded with sos. But their sos was quite nice. Lolx. Then after that, don't know how, my mum and the lady became like BFF. Lolx. The lady said she thinks she saw my mum few times already in Delifrance and my mum was like yea, I think I saw you before also. I come here few times already.
After their convo..
Fion : You know that lady meh?
Mum : She said she see me before wert. Play along la.
Fion : O.O!!!
Lolx. And thats how our day went. I didn't know my mum could be that hilarious. I was laughing my ass off at Delifrance today.
I have no idea how my mum managed to come up with Centralvalley and France-deli. Lolx.
Conclusion of the story..
Question : Did we manage to get the free chicken pie??
Answer : Yes, we got the chicken pie.
Question : What happened to the chicken pie after that??
Answer : No one ate the chicken pie. The chicken pie is left untouched in the fridge for now.
Lolx. Moral of the story: Fight for your rights. XD
