Hmmm, it's been a while since I last blog. Anyway, YAY! It's finally Easter break!
I've been longing for today. Last week was super hectic and this week is equally as hectic as well. Last week I had my mid-term exam for Cost Info and Company Reporting. Not forgetting Acc Info System class test as well. With 3 exams last week, my gang and I had to also attend this Red Carpet event organised by Moneytree on Friday night.
As for this week, I had a presentation for AIS on Tues, a major Commercial Banking assignment which constitute 30% internal and a business trip to KPMG and BASF today (Friday). Now, you know why I said my life had been hectic for the pass 2 weeks. So glad Easter break is finally here. Yay! One week of rest! =D
Well, actually there's pretty much to do during this week although its "break". Will be havingadditional dance practice next week for the Dance Ala Carte Concert on May 6th & May 7th plus need to start on my Cost Info assignment which is due after the break. Plus need to catch up with all my studies! Sobss... Guess, break is not really break after all. Sigh.
Anyway, let's talk about the Red Carpet event. =D
Question: So how was the event??
Answer: Overall.... Awesome! Lolx.
Well, things wasn't really on my side actually. Me and my friends actually went to Kota Damansara, Curve and One Utama to shop for shoes and dresses for the Red Carpet event. And after so much effort shopping around walking for hours, guess what. I BOUGHT NOTHING! I think god was trying to tell me that I've been spending a lot lately and I should start saving and stop spending.
Seriously! Wan Ling managed to get a dress from one of the boutiques in Kota Damansara for 55 bucks! Like wth? So cheap right?? And her dress was seriously lovely!! And Sue Yen managed to get a dress from Cat Whiskers for 40 bucks!! Even more wthhhh!!! Oh, and she got a shoes from Vincci too. A killer 4.5 inch heels. That crazy woman. She's already freaking tall and she wants to get a freaking super duper high heels. =.='
And me, I seriously got nothing! I actually saw 2 dresses that I really like a lot but both of them were super pricy! Saw one pink dress at Fame which cost RM 375. ='( And saw another really nice dress from Glitter Venus which cost RM 215. None of the dress that I like cost below RM 100 and being the cheapskate me, I'm just not really willing to invest so much on that event. Well, it's not even prom right?
As for shoes, after shopping for like a billion years (Exaggeration here), I seriously had my eyes on this high heels from Treats which is super gorgeous but to my disappointment, they only have size 7!!! ARGHHH!@#$%^&@#$%. And it was too big for my small feet. ='( I'm a size 5/6 when it comes to shoes. Sue Yen actually liked the shoe too but it was too small for her. Guess god doesn't want both of us to get the shoe.
So no new shoes for poor Fion. No new dress for poor Fion. I wanted to style my hair for that day too since I didn't spend a cent on buying a dress or shoes but, AGAIN, to my disappointment, it cost RM 68 to just style my hair! Not including washing etc. Just styling! And not only that, there were quite many customers that day so if we wanted to do our hair, we would have to wait for an hour. =.=' Damn potong my steam. So in the end, no styling hair either.
So you guess, I really must have look haggard with all the stress from my test etc and plus with no new dress or shoes or styling of hair, no make-up too, Fion must have look like super crappy that night right? Well, I think I look ok actually. At least still decent looking. I borrowed my sister's dress, I re-use my clutch that I bought for last year Red Carpet Dinner, I re-use the heels that I bought for prom, I played a bit with my hair and well, no make-up actually.... I look pretty decent that night. =)
Below are some of the pictures of that night. =) Had a really great time with Di Yao, Sue Yen, Shirley, Jia Min, Wan Ling, Sook Ting etc etc... Wish Wye Sern was there but, oh well.
Enjoy:
